    You might also suggest students take a look at some interdisciplinary programs. In regard to the job market it could be a way to hedge their bets and in some cases I’d imagine a “philosopher’s” interests may require it.

    Systems Theory is a cross discipline specialized field that’s always interested me but there are many others.
