Some announcements:
First, we’re currently planning on hiking up to the wind caves in Logan Canyon and re-enacting the allegory of the cave in the caves on Saturday the 23rd at lunch time (starting at 11AM). We want to gauge interest and make sure that this time works for people. So, please fill out this Google Form. https://forms.gle/uKy6VcvoziQha9zZA
Second, Justin has done an awesome job building a Discord server for us! I think it would be great if all the members of the club joined. Here is the link. https://discord.gg/pC79WYugqC (Faculty can join if they want.) There we can facilitate more informal chats, share what we’ve been reading, watching, listening to, etc. If you have any questions about it, direct them to Justin (darksun81@gmail.com).
Finally, we are planning on having a get-to-know you social activity on Tuesday the 19th, before the planned date for the wind caves meeting. Stay tuned for another announcement about that soon.
