Congratulations to Chase Edwards (USU Philosophy major 2026, member of Phi Sigma Tau) who recently published “On Understanding” in Dialogue, the undergraduate journal of Phi Sigma Tau! Chase will be going on to graduate school in a philosophically-inclined training program for therapists. Congratulations, Chase!

Phi Sigma Tau is the national honor society in philosophy. To be able to join, you must meet these requirements:

• You must have completed 1.5 semesters at USU;
• You must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA;
• You must have completed (or are now completing) three Philosophy classes
• You must have a B average in your Philosophy classes.

Note that you need not be a minor or major in Philosophy. There is a $30 fee to join, which goes to the national office. We hold an initiation event, which is loads of fun, sometime over exam week.
