Philosophy UTF application

Logan native Kevin White earned a BA with a double-major in JCOM and Spanish at USU in 1991. He has had a wide-ranging career with a variety of tech companies in Salt Lake and Utah Counties, and he currently is Director of Global Sales Development at Visa’s office in Lehi. Kevin is very interested in raising awareness of opportunities for our students at his company—we can extrapolate from Kevin’s experience to that of many other ‘Silicon Slopes’ firms.

There will be an information session with Kevin for students, faculty, and staff this Friday, April 8^th, 1:00PM at the Alumni House (food and beverages provided). This will be a low-key opportunity to socialize and learn more about career options.

Richard Sherlock, Professor of Philosophy at USU, will retire at the end of this academic year. We are planning a retirement event for him on Thursday, April 7th, 3-5 p.m., in the Caine Room (room 212 in the Family Life building).
