Jason Gilmore and Sidi Becar Meyara, on their 2025 Civil Rights Pilgrimage: Bridging and Reconciling Human Difference, and in order to give philosophy students time to apply, the deadline for applications has just been extended to Friday, October 18th.

I’m emailing on behalf of The Gadfly, Columbia’s undergraduate philosophy magazine. Each semester, we publish a print issue featuring philosophically relevant content, including essays, fiction, art, music, etc. from students from a variety of institutions and disciplinary backgrounds. This semester, the theme of our issue is “Skeletal”, and we are looking for pitches for the magazine. I’m reaching out to see if it would be possible for you to forward this opportunity to your students. If they are interested, they can submit a pitch of less than 500 words to this link by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 10/6.
