It is the time of year when we solicit applications to join Phi Sigma Tau, the national honor society in philosophy. In order to join, you must meet these qualifications:
You must have completed 1.5 semesters at USU;
You must have a B average in your Philosophy classes.
You must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA;
You must have completed (or are now completing) three Philosophy classes.
You need not be a philosophy minor or major.
There is a $25 initiation fee, which is sent on to the national office, and must be a check or money order (sorry about that). If you are interested in joining, please contact Charlie Huenemann (charlie.huenemann@usu.edu) by April 10.
We will have an induction ceremony and dinner this month for all members, new, old, and ancient. Details TBD.
