Last year, rather by accident, we happened upon a fun way to do philosophy: take 5 to 10 minutes to launch an interesting or outrageous idea, and take 5 minutes for questions. We had Phenomenology of What’s Cool, Farts: A Transcendental Inquiry, and Socrates vs. the Flying Machines (not really, but why not?). Anyhow, Justin Solum is organizing this event, so send a sketch of an idea to me or to him. Deadline: Monday, so get on it!
