HEY! It’s time to do something philosophy club-wise. Allow me to propose a tea/beverage-of-choice get together next Wednesday, October 16th, 3 p.m., at the Quadside Cafe (that’s the cafe in the library). No agenda: just come and we’ll end up talking philosophy in one way or another!

Constitution events at UVU, September 17-19th
Readers may be interested in a series of events over several days at UVU examining questions about the U. S. Constitution. Plenty of interesting talks are scheduled, including a discussion with the screenwriter for HBO’s John Adams miniseries. Details at this webpage.

Ethics Bowl meeting Friday!
An organizational meeting for Ethics Bowl will be this Friday, Feb. 6th, 3:30, in Main 326.
For those who don’t know, Ethics Bowl is like debate, but with less focus on scoring points, and more emphasis in developing a clear overview of a moral issue. Our team competes with other regional teams, with the chance of going to the national tournament.
